I can...forget to eat breakfast at work with all the emails.
I can...pay less attention driving.
I can...go all day without having a face-to-face conversation.

Yay, technology.

Wait, what?

Do you think stem cell research is good, bad, or dangerous? Should it be funded by the government?

It's good, but we've been fighting for so long over embryonic stem cell research that we're missing some of the advances in adult stem cell research. We shouldn't lose sight of the fact that there are a lot of different stem cell options, and I'm afraid a lot of our research is going to be obsolete because we're wasting time over 1 option when there's a lot more than 1 option available.

What recently developed technology—cell phones, wi-fi, laptops, handheld gaming devices, etc.—do you think has had the worst influence on how people behave in public?

Cell phones. People spend so much time texting, they forget how to have real conversations face-to-face. It's like pulling teeth to get any decent dialogue these days.
